Today I’m sharing an interview from the Sunny in Seattle show on Alternative Talk Radio KKNW.
This interview reminded me it’s important to recognize that however you travel the path of self-mastery, insight, or exploring and knowing who you are and who you’re wanting to become, your path is true and right.
As human beings, we tend to compare ourselves to others.
I’m reminding you (and myself) that we’re each forging our own path. This isn’t a monkey see, monkey do kind of thing.
Who you are is unique, and the experiences you have as you move towards uncovering the depths of yourself are also unique.
Give yourself some grace. You’re doing this thing right.
At the end of our broadcast, Sunny asked me if I had anything to share with her audience.
I did, and I want to share that guidance with you too.
The energy of the new year and the idea of resolutions can get you off course. I want to remind you to draw your attention to your guiding star — the broader vision for your life — and remember that it is always just beyond your reach.
Settle in, get still, and let your life speak. Parker Palmer says it this way: “Before I can tell my life what I want to do with it, I must listen to my life telling me who I am.”
Listen to your experiences. Let them lead you towards your personal joy.
You’re invited to listen to our conversation. I’ve included the link below.
I’d also like to give you a resource if you’re wondering exactly how to begin to set an intention based on your aspirations vs the traditional achievement model.
The workshop below has three sessions you can listen to at your convenience. I’m grateful to walk alongside you as you travel your unique path.
Once you complete this workshop, you’re welcome to start a conversation with me for support or just to share your insights here.
Happy New Year and All things Lovely in 2K19,
Vivi
