Have you looked up at the sky at night or before dawn recently? Have you seen the full moon rise at dusk or begin to set before dawn? I have.
Grandmother Moon has been gently stirring me awake to admire her fullness and to contemplate.
The moon is a symbol of intuition, emotion, and transformative and infinite potential. She is also a symbol for what is within you, that which is sensed but unseen. The full moon is a time when we typically set an intention to let go of what no longer serves us and embrace new beginnings.
I usually harness the full moon’s energy with a Bano or a fire ritual. A Bano is an intentional water limpia that cleanses the mind, body, and spirit.
We participate in rituals not only because we want to change things but because, deep down, we recognize that the only constant is change. Birth and death, holding and letting go, sun rise and set, day and night. We are swimming in the ceremony of letting go and beginning again.
How aware are you of the beauty and truth that swims around you and what’s asking to arise within you?
If you’d like a bit of gentle guidance as you walk that path, I invite you to experience the “Moon Phase Experiment” I developed a few years ago.

The intention of it is to guide you in a new way of learning that draws out from within.
That is the basic truth and pure intention of education. The word is borrowed from the Latin word educere and means “to draw out.”
Nudging and drawing you closer to accessing your insights,
Dr. Vivi.
