The very first thing I created on this transformational pilgrimage was a 40-Day Adventure on Love.
It is the distilled, drilled-down version of a topic I poured over for years and still continue to explore and learn about. At the time, I researched the heck out of “love” but in an angry kind of way because I was pissed off about the concept. I felt like the Hallmark greetings cards, the bible verses, and movies were leaving something out. I wanted to understand exactly what love was because I figured I must be getting it wrong, and I wanted to get it right. So I got to reading and ended up with this experience, and it’s my gift to you.
Your Gift
https://viviancarrasco.com/start-here/40-day-promise/... an e-course of 40 days of personal emails from me to help guide you on the journey of integrating your head and your heart.
I encourage you to find a special journal to reflect on the questions and to document your experience. There are two practical actions that I give credit to my life changing for the better. The first is a daily ritual/spiritual practice, and the second is writing everyday in a journal that mirrors back to me where I am right now. This isn’t a to-do list; it’s a tool to help you remember what you already know.
I found this in my notes from July 2013.
“True love is possible, but it starts with me loving and trusting myself first.”
Your Invitation
You’re a valued member of the tribe, and it’s my privilege to serve you and love you as we walk our paths side by side. I’m happy to do that as long as you keep inviting me into your inbox, your ear, or your heart.
I’m reading The Way to Love, the last meditations of Anthony De Mello and in the “Be Awake” chapter he writes, “When you set out to serve someone whom you have not taken the trouble to see, are you meeting that person’s needs or your own?”
My hunch is that it’s easy to focus more on our own experience instead of theirs. We’re all figuring this out together. 🙂
Since the first ingredient of love (and service) is to see the other, which is difficult because I can’t see you with this digital divide, I’d like to invite you into a conversation.
What do you ache for on a daily basis? What do you want? Whatever you need, let it arise.
What is challenging or frustrating you at the moment?
Love springs from awareness, and to serve you, I must see you.
My Love All Ways,
Vivi
