What if instead of trying to force ourselves to do something, we became curious instead?
When we’re curious, we step out of the old, fear-based, reactive habit patterns that are part of our wiring as humans, and we step into being.
Marrying that level of observation with compassion is my awareness-based practice of choice, what I call the Love.Being.Human method.
I practice what I preach, so at the beginning of this year when I realized there needed to be changes in my life I began by I asking myself, “What if?”
One major area of focus was my engagement with you and reevaluating how I was going to show up.
I framed my “What if” scenario by asking what would it look like if I offered you what I’ve heard you say you need, AND allowed myself even more freedom, fun, joy and connection too?
This is one of the primary mindsets we cultivate to learn to Love.Being.Human., both/and not either/or thinking.
Before you begin, give yourself permission to imagine.
Call yourself out if you have the false idea that you know all the options or that you have the sole responsibility of figuring it out on your own.
Give yourself time, space, and a tiny bit of kindness for something else to show up.
Giving yourself permission to imagine something different sets your brain and heart out on an adventure together.
Your awareness will naturally look for things that support your intention. You’ll be moved in ways you won’t even notice.
One way to test whether your embodying this perspective is to look ahead between you and your chosen destination and notice if as you stare ahead into the distance staring at the choice in front of you – do you see a fork in the road, (if so you’ve set yourself up for a decision between only two options- either/or) or you can be curious about seeing a bend in the road ahead, instead.
This is what I have personally guided myself through every season of every year for the last nine years. The results are experiencing my life unfolding better than I could have even imagined it.
The new format of my offerings in Within (U)niversity is a direct outcome of this personal cycle of evolution, and I’m so excited to share it with you!
You now have the option to join us in the community where this Fall and Winter I’ll be hosting a Mary Magdalene book club, a primitive pottery journey, and a new meditation series or access Within (U) AND Monthly 1-1 Coaching with Sarah Dietman.
What could happen if you added joy to your routine with an easy, fun, creative connection with me and a private personal guide to coach you towards your vision of your future?
